MINE
Created by James Barrett, Paul Herwig, Martin Moreau & Kevin Sepaul.
An explosion rips through a coal mine and the search begins…
While draegermen hunt for the trapped miners, and reporters stir up the dust looking for the cause of the blast and a way to sell papers, fingers of condemnation point furiously about. In a fast-paced series of scenes, MINE explores the reasons for people’s actions and the responsibility those actions carry with them, delving deep into human emotions revealing the guilt, anger, self-interest, and hopelessness of the situation.
Mine opens at the Lakeview Arts Barn Wednesday evening at the Lakeview Arts Barn 2300 Pigeon Lake Road,
Bobcaygeon, Ontario. The show runs at 8pm Wednesday to Satuday for two weeks ,with a Matinee on the final Saturday in addition to the evening performance.
