Lindsay Library Imagine Programs Pack Fun!

Entertaining and educational programs with the theme “Imagine” continue during the month of August at the Lindsay branch of the City of Kawartha Lakes Public Library.

Imagination Station, for children up to age 3 years, continues every Tuesday morning at 10:30 am.  Activities are geared toward children up to 3 years of age but everyone is welcome.  Registration is not required – drop in any Tuesday. 
 
Featured Passport to Fun events on Wednesdays at 2 pm includes the following. Please be sure to register in advance.  
August 1 – “Who is in the Wardrobe”
August 8 – “The Centre  for the Conservation of Specialized Species”
August 15 – “Lakeland Storytellers”
Augusts 22 – “Fantasy Food”
August 28 – “Enchanted Garden”
 
Enjoy a different activity each week at Imagine Crafts on Thursdays at 2 pm.  Boys and girls age 7 years and up are asked to register in advance as space is limited.
 
Fantasy Tales, for children age 4 – 7 years, continues on Friday mornings at 10:30 am.  Lots of fun with stories, games, activities and crafts.  Registration is not required.
 
Read to the Dogs with St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs Jack and Rocky -   Thursday, August 9 between 6:30 and 7:30 pm and Saturday, August 25 between 10:30 am and 12 noon.   Book your 15 minute session in advance.
