Kawartha Lakes Welcomes Don Harron aka Charlie Farquharson!

May 25 1:30 pm Canadian Comedian Don Harron will be signing books at Harmony Farm in Kinmount. Reservations are recommended.

Harron best known for his character Charlie Farquharson, from HeeHaw and Red Green, has written numerous books in the Charlie Farquharson idiolect which gently poke fun at the misunderstandings created through accent, and sprinkled with rural humour.

When Don Harron's 'Histry of Canada  and Jogfree of Canada hit shelves in the '70s, teachers engaged us blasé teens in chuckles over maps inside the covers labelling our southern neighbour 'Ewe Ass' .
