Saturday May14 Teams of Adults will pit mental and physical skills to win huge prizes in the Annual Race for Kids supporting Boys and Girls Clubs across Canada. Not in City of Kawartha Lakes? There are races all across Canada. Not a racer?Volunteers are welcome to join in helping make this event a success.The 5 km urban adventure race in City of Kawartha Lakes promises huge prizes for winners, but the real winners in this competition will be our community, by bettering the lives of City of Kawartha Lakes children.

The Warrior Division is set up for those who enjoy the hard core fitness events like Tough Mudder or Warrior Challenge.
The Rec Division is set up with 7 check points for more of a mental challenge with fun rolled in.
Race for Kids Kawartha Lakes Prizes!!
Top Warrior Division team gets a $4000 cash prize with $2000 for second and $1200 for third.Top Individual Fundraiser receives 2 tickets to wherever WestJet flies. Depending on the destination this could be up to a $3000 value!!!
Top 3 teams in the Rec Division will receive gift certificates and other prizes.
Other prizes for best costume and checkpoint challenge hilarity.
Free food and refreshments for all racers at the After Party Awards Ceremony.
What is the Race for Kids?
Race for Kids event is a 5km adult race where many of the checkpoint challenges make you feel like a kid again! All money raised through the race goes to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Kawartha Lakes Foundation: providing recreation activities, health and wellness programming, infant and child development, and a safe space for youth in our community -just a few things the Boys and Girls Clubs do.Register until April 30 using promo code HELPKIDS to save $10.
