Soldier Applications for the next True Patriot Love Expedition: Antarctica due January 12. 

Antarctic Expedition Opportunity
Apply for the experience of a lifetime! The True Patriot Love Foundation (TPL) is thrilled to announce the next adventure in their expedition series – True Patriot Love Expedition: Antarctica. Taking place in January 2016, this incredible challenge will take 9 soldiers and 18 business leaders on a journey to the summit of Vinson Massif, the highest peak in Antarctica and one of the world’s Seven Summits. By doing so, these individuals will raise critical funds and awareness for the brave men and women of our Canadian Armed Forces to ensure that each individual who has served our country is able to receive the care that they need as they recover and reclaim their body and spirit following their service. 
True Patriot Love is actively seeking current and former Canadian service personnel from across the country who have sustained an injury, illness, or OSI as a result of their military service to apply to participate in this adventure. Taking part in the expedition offers soldier participants on opportunity to receive guidance and assistance during their transition to civilian life.

Antarctic Expedition General Information 

Eligibility: Applicants must be current or former members of the Canadian Armed Forces who have sustained an injury, illness, or OSI as a result of their military service.
Availability: Applicants must be available during the following dates (no exceptions): Mandatory training camp to take place from August 13-17, 2015 (inclusive) Expedition to take place from January 6-27, 2016 (inclusive).
Cost: All expenses related to the expedition will be covered by fundraising initiatives lead by the expedition’s civilian participants and the True Patriot Love Foundation.
Medical Requirements: This is a physically demanding experience. Applicants must complete medical screening in advance of the expedition and sign a waiver prior to participation.
Mentorship Program: Soldier participants will take part in a mentorship program with Canadian business leaders which will include an emotional intelligence assessment and development coaching.
