Ward 6 Councillor Doug Elmslie Holds Town Hall Meeting March 19

Ward 6 Councillor Doug Elmslie is holding a Town Hall meeting on Thursday, March 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fenelon Falls Community Centre.
Coun. Elmslie will be discussing the future of the old arena as well as other issues important to Fenelon Falls and Ward 6 residents and businesses.
“I believe it is important to meet with the residents and business owners and keep them apprised of what is happening not only in our own ward, but across the entire City of Kawartha Lakes,” said Coun. Elmslie.
The upcoming Town Hall meeting is an annual meeting that Coun. Elmslie feels is essential to keep local residents and business connected to their community.
“This will be a great opportunity for people to come and hear about local issues and initiatives and to ask questions and raise concerns they may have,” he said.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend the Town Hall meeting.
“I look forward to meeting with everyone and to discuss a lot of the local issues going on and to get feedback from my constituents,” Coun. Elmslie added.
Unfortunately, since there is no public transit available in the evening, once again, seniors who do not drive at night, and anyone who relies on public transit will be excluded.
Hmm.. need a ride to the meeting? Give Coun. Elmslie a call at 705-324-9411 ext 1362.
