July 18 - 22 - KID'S CAMP - Week 1
We’ll keep your kids active and entertained this summer! Our campers will participate in a fun-packed week of animal themed activities. Humane Education topics are the focus of the week, and our campers will be instructed on how to humanely interact with animals, while learning responsibility and safety. Games, crafts, indoor and outdoor activities are scheduled, as well as field trip and a BBQ lunch party at the end of the week! New location! We are please to announce that we will be hosting our golf tournament at Oliver’s Nest Golf Club, Oakwood! Our 18th Annual Golf Tournament is an 18 hole, four-person team scramble. Golfers of all skill-levels are welcome to participate in this fun-tactic event! Each registered golfer will be offered an official tax receipt for $25. Lunch, hosted by Smitty’s, dinner, provided by Oliver’s Nest Golf Club, a cart and door prizes are included in the player fee. We will also have a Silent Auction, ball toss, trivia and games on the course! Win Back Your Player Fee! Register between May 12 until June 19th to win back your player fee! Second Chance’ is our second-hand store located in the front half of the old shelter. We are a volunteer run store with items donated from the community.We accept donations of home decor items, nick-nacks, glass and dishes, small furniture, antiques, jewellery, prints and much more! We do not accept clothing or shoes at this time, but we do accept new/gently used purses and hand-bags.
