July 7 th, 2016, Kinmount Heritage Festival kicks off three days of fun with a great concert in the park. The highlight of the Kinmount Heritage Festival is definitely the Kinmount Highland Games on July 9th.
If you have not had the opportunity to visit Kinmount Highland Games, be sure to get there this year!

Kinmount Highland Games Welcomes You!

The Kinmount Highland Games is an event of the Kinmount Committee for Planning and Economic Development, a local committee of council for the City of Kawartha Lakes that is devoted to promoting the economic prosperity and heritage of Kinmount. The Games are held as part of the Heritage in the Village Festival and will be located at the beautiful Kinmount Fairgrounds with the space sponsored by the Kinmount Agricultural Society.

• When? The Kinmount Highland Games are being held July 9, 2016 Gates open at 7:30am, Events begin 8:30am. Opening Ceremonies are 11:30am. Closing Ceremonies are 4pm
• Where?  At the Kinmount Fairgrounds. 
• What? This year the Games include the following events:
• Heavy Events, 
• Highland Dance Competition, 
• Pipes and Drums Display, Performances and Friendly Competition, 
• Gathering of the Clans, 
• Food and Goods Vendors, 
• An Artisans' Marketplace, 
• Children's Activities, 
• Agricultural Displays and Presentations 
• Entertainment Stage 
• How Much? Tickets are $10. per person for individuals 13 years and over. Parking on the grounds is $5.
• Why go?  Learn about the rich heritage of our ancestors in a fun atmosphere.
