Lindsay Bulk Barn Owner Flies to International Rotary Conference

Lindsay Bulk Barn Owner, Gary Traill, wings his way towards Rotary International Convention in Thailand as I type this post.

Gary, a long-time member of Rotary International Lindsay, and his wife are attending tge Rotary International 2012 Conference in Thailand.

'My wife and I have been to several Rotary Conventions both at the District and international levels.'shared Gary adding,'However, this will be the first time for us travelling to Asia.'

Rotary International Working Towards World Peace

One of Rotary's main objectives is to work towards world peace and understanding; to that end, Gary Traill has volunteered many years helping arrange student exchanges for Rotary International.

'When meeting counterparts from around the globe, we realize, just as Rotary exchange students do, that although our cultures and languages may be different, we are all very much alike.' shared Gary.

Over 38,000 Rotarians registered for the 2012 International Rotary conference from 158 countries hosted by Thailand this year. Wow!

'At the International Conventions, it is always nice to meet and speak to Rotarians from other cultures,' Gary explained adding ' and to hear about their Rotary experiences and what type of fundraisers and projects that they are involved with.'

Lindsay Bulk Barn Staff Meets High Customer Service Standards

We asked Gary how was able to leave the business to go to these events.

'Well, I'm very lucky in that I have great staff,' Gary explained adding, 'and I know that whether I am there or not, our staff not only takes care of the business, but are still treating customers in the same friendly, courteous manner as they do when I'm there.'

The day we popped into Lindsay Bulk Barn, we were enthusiastically greeted James Foster and April English pictured below on either side of Gary.

'I love working here,"shared James with a broad smile adding,'This is a great place to work!'

'We have very high standards in our business,' furthered Gary, adding 'and I know that even when I am away, my staff will always strive to keep these up. '
