Kawartha Lakes residents who cook for charitable events, business, or even at home, will want to register for this two-day food handling course run by Haliburton Kawartha Lakes Pine Ridge Health Unit.- What? LINDSAY: Food Handler Course,
- When? Monday, May 27, and Tuesday, May 28, 9 am to 4 pm,
- Where? Health Unit office at 108 Angeline St. S. in Lindsay.
- How? This two-day course teaches participants how to handle and prepare food safely. Upon successful completion, participants receive a certificate (valid for a period of five years) indicating they are registered as a certified food handler.
- Cost is $40 per person.
