Kawartha Lakes, May, 2014: Monday June 2, 2014 City of Kawartha Lakes invites you to join in celebrating the successful artsVest Program in Kawartha Lakes from 5pm to 6:30pm at Lakeview Arts Barn Bobcaygeon. In 2013-2014, the artsVest program in Kawartha Lakes saw 7 arts organizations partnering with 23 local businesses. What will be happening at this celebration?

Business for the Arts, Canada’s national charitable organization of business members who support the arts, will hold a reception to celebrate the success of its artsVest™ program in Kawartha Lakes.
  • WHEN: Monday, June 2, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM (EDT) 
  • WHAT: artsVest™ is a Business for the Arts matching incentive and sponsorship training program designed to spark new business sponsorship of arts and culture. The 2013-2014 program in Kawartha Lakes saw 7 arts organizations partnering with 23 local businesses. The final figures of the financial impact of the program on the Kawartha Lakes community will be announced by Mayor Ric McGee at the event. 
  • WHO: Interview and photo opportunities will be available with: - Mayor Ric McGee - 2013-2014 participating artsVest arts organizations and businesses 
  • WHERE: Lakeview Arts Barn, 2300 Pigeon Lake Road, Bobcaygeon, Ontario K0M 1A0
