Write Santa - Santa Will Write Back!

Write to Santa - Santa Will Write Back icon Each year children across Canada write to Santa and Canada Post delivers the letters to the North Pole where Santa and his elves send back a reply in more than 30 languages including Braille! Children, parents and teachers will be pleased to know the write to Santa program is on track again for this year - and Canada post is even offering free printables on their website!
How can you make sure Santa replies?
Here are some tips from Canada Post.

3 Tips to Ensure Santa Writes Back

There are 3 golden rules when sending a letter to Santa:
  1. Make sure to include your full return address.
  2. While wish lists are good (especially for the workshop elves), Santa really loves to read about your child's favourite sports, jokes, school activities or family fun (even if Mom and Dad help with the writing). And, of course, he loves to get pictures and drawings from even his youngest pen pals!
  3. Send your letter soon. Letters must be mailed by December 8th by schools and December 16 from homes to receive a reply (it's a long way to the North Pole and back!).

Santa Traditions

Does your family have any Santa Traditions? Do you leave out cookies, and sprinkle magic reindeer food?
Santa always packed our socks the same way each year - orange in the toe, nuts in the shell, a huge apple, candies, a small present or two and a new tooth brush. Dad always got crazy things in his sock -curlers,  a sock with a hole in the toe, a lump of coal.
Here are a few Santa crafts your family might enjoy.
