Canadian Childcare Shouldn't Be a Matter of Luck! Martha Friendly, the 2015 Margaret Laurence Lecture Speaker at Trent University, pointed out that Canada is not a good place for parents to raise children, because obtaining quality childcare is a matter of luck.
