Terry Fox 2016 Runs Extend Marathon of Hope

September 18, 2016 is a day of celebrating the Terry Fox legacy and helping to keep alive his dream of finding a cure for cancer.
The Terry Fox Run is a non-competitive event where people get together as individuals, families, and groups to raise money for cancer research in Terry's name.
There are few people whose lives have not been touched by the shadow of cancer. There are also few people who set out to do the impossible, and change a nation in the process. This is what a brave young Canadian teen who was battling cancer did with his family.
This year, the Terry Fox 2016 poster star for schools is another brave young teen, a teen from Omemee, Kawartha Lakes Ontario.
