City of Kawartha Lakes is conducting an online survey to understand how you currently use the City’s five open landfill sites. Who is this survey for? Visitors and residents! They Want to Hear from You!Provide feedback about landfill operations including hours of operations, services offered and more.

Where are City of Kawartha Lakes Landfill Sites?
City of Kawartha Lakes currently has five open landfill sites:
Items Accepted include:
- Laxton Digby Longford
- Eldon
- Somerville
- Fenelon
- Lindsay/Ops
Items Accepted include:
- Furniture such as couches, chairs, tables, desks
- Dishes, utensils, pots, pans
- Books, records,
- VCR Tapes, CDs and DVDs
- Miscellaneous items i.e. doors, windows, glass
- Novelty items or ‘antique-type’ items (door knobs, milk cans, pumps) Memorabilia, paraphernalia and collectibles
