City of Kawartha Lakes Parks, Recreation & Culture Division is proud to announce that 2013 marks the 22nd Anniversary of its annual summer Concerts in the Park Series.
Over the past 22 years, Parks, Recreation & Culture in partnership with local bands and sponsors have provided community members with a free concert in the park during the summer months. These family oriented concerts have provided an opportunity for individuals to meet, interact and develop community spirit and pride while enjoying and supporting local musical talent.

There are 14 concerts scheduled to take place in 2013. The Concerts in the Park series takes place at the Frank Banks Gazebo in Victoria Park, in downtown Lindsay Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoons from 2:00-4:00 p.m. starting July 3rd until August 28th.
The annual series is sponsored by a number of local businesses and would not be possible without the support of local bands and community members alike.

Bands or individuals interested in performing in the 2013 series contact Ms. Woolacott at cwoolacott @city.kawarthalakes.on.ca or 705- 324-9411 x 1306. Concerts dates will be filled on a first come, first serve basis for the upcoming season.
