Friday,April 26, 2013 Parkview Public School holds their Pedal for Hope grand final BBQ and celebration. Does your school conduct fundraising events? How do they affect your budget?Word on the street from some parents is money solicited by schools, sometimes makes it difficult to purchase necessities. Parkview PS has conducted a very successful fundraiser that was easy on parents' pocket books. We applaud Parkview Public School in raising funds for paediatric cancer research, with their budget-friendly fundraisers!
Parkview Public School Lindsay Budget-Friendly Fundraisers Pack Punch!
Throughout the month of April Parkview P.S. Panthers have been raising money in support of cancer research for children. All month long, staff and students have been holding mini fund-raisers - Freezie Fridays, a Spa Day, Ball Hockey tournaments, a movie, and even hat day. Most of these fun fundraisers were only a loonie, but with the number fundraisers, and the population of the school it will make a big difference!On Friday, April 26th at 11:30 a.m. there will be a grand finale BBQ and celebration assembly when the OPP Pedal for Hope Cycling Tour will visit Parkview Public School. During the assembly, games and head shaves will take place!
Parkview Public School, 133 Adelaide Street North, Lindsay, Ontario is home to almost 350 students in grades kindergarten through to grade six.
