Bobcaygeon Helps Hunger Awareness Day Food Drive will take place Friday May 10 from 10 am to 4 pm in two locations: Valu Mart and Foodland. Did you know
32% of the Bobcaygeon Food Bank clients are under age 16 and 13% of their population needs the Foodbank? Food and cash donations are both welcome.

Bobcaygeon Helps Food Bank is located at Christ Church Anglican Bobcaygeon on Sherwood Street with the entrance off Park Road.Hours: Tuesdays and Fridays 2:00-4:00 pm July and August – Fridays only
Bobcaygeon Helps is a non-profit corporation focused on operating the Bobcaygeon Food Bank.  The Directors of Bobcaygeon Helps are representatives of the churches. Local clergy also attend meetings and play an active role. Bobcaygeon Helps has no paid employees and is operated entirely by volunteers who provide their time and energy in staffing the Food Bank, stocking the shelves and purchasing food with donated funds. These volunteers provide support to the community in two ways:

1. Providing a year round emergency Food Bank facility for families and individuals in need.
2. Supporting local breakfast/lunch school programs. 

They rely on food and monetary donations from local residents and businesses through food drives and depository bins located at supermarkets. They are entirely self-sufficient and all donations stay within their community.
