The Olympia Restaurant will host the 5th Annual Kawartha Lakes 100 Mile Dinner on September 9, 2013. Be sure to get your tickets and save the date to enjoy the traditional local fare produced by local farms in a warm and friendly atmosphere where you are sure to make a new friend. Chef Andy Brooks at The Olympia has planned and will prepare the evening’s  banquet with Pane Vino Trattoria’s Chef, Andrew Munro. Cooking local produce and meat is what they do in their restaurants all year long, and this one night they will combine their skills and expertise for the community.

Kawartha Choice FarmFresh - Delicious Local Foods!

Locally sourced foods acquired through Kawartha Choice FarmFresh producers includes: fresh pork, chicken, beef and lamb, vegetables, pickled items, maple syrup, cheese, milk products and fruits in season.
 Not only can you expect a delectable main course, but your taste buds will be soaring as you get a chance to sample a collection of Kawartha-baked butter tarts from participating bakeries on the Kawartha Northumberland Butter Tart Tour.

Kawartha Lakes 100 Mile Dinner Helps Local Organizations

 The 100 Mile Dinner is a signature fundraising event in support of Kawartha Choice FarmFresh and the United Way for the City of Kawartha Lakes.
The Kawartha Lakes 100 Miles dinner features two seatings as in past years - at 5 pm and 7:30 pm. Local talent will entertain the sellout crowds while local celebrities and volunteers help the Olympia and Pane Vino Restaurant staff serve over 230 guests. In 2012 the 100 Mile Dinner raised over $5,000 for the United Way and Kawartha Choice.
 Tickets are $35 per person and available at the Olympia Restaurant: 705-328-1444 and the City of Kawartha Lakes Economic Development Office: 705-324-9411 at extension 1232.
