July 24 2014 Beach Report shows only five local beaches posted unsafe for swimming, all the rest are OPEN! HOORAY! Is midsummer boredom setting in around your house? With temperatures fluctuating between hot and unseasonably cool, what other fun summer activities, can you do with children to tire them out by bed time? Which beaches are closed? In addition to these beaches, there are also two provincial parks, and many private beaches in City of Kawartha Lakes. - Yes, we are indeed a city of shining waters!
