Kawartha Lakes Christmas Celebrations Welcome You!
Many groups in Kawartha Lakes opening their doors to welcome people who might otherwise be alone on Christmas or might need a dinner on Christmas. This post has information we've found about Christmas dinners available throughout City of Kawartha Lakes. While it is very generous of the people donating their time and resources to these dinners, so far we've only found one dinner that has transportation to it - Cameron Community Church. Here are the Christmas Dinners we've found that are happening in City of Kawartha Lakes this week.
Christmas Eve Dinner at Lindsay Collegiate and Vocational Institute
A group spearheaded by the organizers of Lindsay Ribfest are hosting a free Community Christmas Dinner at LCVI December 24th from 5pm to 7pm Everything for this dinner has been donated in order to make sure this dinner is free.Santa and his elves will be handing out gifts and there will be entertainment.
Bobcaygeon Churches Hosting Christmas Day Dinner
The Dinner in Bobcaygeon is at Trinity United Church 44 William St. Bobcaygeon at noon on Christmas Day. All are welcome. No charge. For those who want to donate there is an opportunity. It is put on by the Bobcaygeon Churches. Volunteers will be setting up, cooking, serving and providing hospitality. Christmas Eve The youth are doing a skit at 7pm called "Santa's Favourite Story" At 10 pm , Bob Tompkins and Sophia Mackey will be doing special solos. The church is fully accessible.
no, this is really just a word of mouth sort of thing. They offer this to their congregation, but can't really accommodate a herd of people. If people hear about it, that's fine, but they will have to get there themselves I'm afraid.
Cameron Community Church - Cameron Annual Christmas Dinner
Cameron Community Church welcomes you to join them for a free turkey dinner with all the trimmings followed by carolling on December 25 at noon. The dinner will be held at the Historic Cameron School House. Call for reservations and transportation. 705-454-9513.
Omemee Baptist Church Christmas Day Open House
