3 Small Space Gardening Solutions

Have no space or little space to garden?
This is a problem that has been frustrating us for the past few years. Having grown up with a large garden,
Do you miss dining on fresh vegetables right from your own garden - vegetables you know haven't had a tonne of chemical fertilizers or who knows what else dumped on them?
Me too!
Here are a few solutions that might work for you.
1. Borrow Garden Space. Did you know that City of Kawartha Lakes has Community Garden plots? This might be a good solution for you if you live fairly close to the Community Garden plot, or perhaps you have a neighbour, who is having challenges managing their garden, and you could trade your labour for gardening space. Unfortunately, for many people, this solution doesn't work, due to travel costs, or even physical challenges.
2. Grow a Tabletop Salad Garden. I've done this a couple of times and been somewhat pleased with the results. The typical tabletop salad garden has several types of lettuces sometimes an herb and a tomato plant. I saw some lovely ones at the Farmers Market in Lindsay a couple of weeks ago, and I'm kicking myself that I didn't pick one up.
What I miss though is other vegetables. Salad is fine, but oh
Wouldn't it be wonderful to have squash, broccoli, spinach, peppers.....
3. Grow Up! We just discovered an exciting new type of garden - a Garden Tower!
