KAWARTHA LAKES OPP AUXILIARY ASSISTING WITH BIKE RODEO
Kawartha Lakes Mums- How do you get your youngsters interested in safe cycling? Bicycle rodeos scan be a great way to increase their interest, while helping ensure their equipment gets a good check.
Ontario Provincial Police City of Kawartha Lakes detachment will show their support at the Omemee bicycle rodeo.
Saturday, June 9, 2012 OPP auxiliary members, along with the Omemee Community Policing group, Omemee and District LIONS, Omemee Curling Club, and Lindsay Canadian Tiire will be helping youngsters get excited about safe cycling at a bicycle rodeo. The event is aimed at youths between 5 to12 years of age, and will take place at the Curling Club, James Street Omemee between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00p.m. with prizes for everybody.
The OPP auxiliary members will be assisting with bicycle safety tips and information.
