Have You Seen These Boating Items? OPP Investigation!

OPP INVESTIGATING THEFTS

CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON. – Kawartha Lakes Mums- have you seen this boat trailer and motor? City of Kawartha Lakes detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is currently investigating two separate thefts.

On September 24, 2012 the OPP attended a residence on Sparrow Court in the former Mariposa Township in response to a complaint regarding the theft of a trailer.  The 40 foot trailer, a 2011 Cyclone 385 with licence plate #E5111M, had been stored in the driveway.

Also on September 24, 2012 the OPP received information relating to the theft of a boat motor that was stolen from a boat in the water in Lake Dalrymple.  Stolen was a 2011 Mercury outboard 8HP motor, valued at approximately $2000.

Anyone having information on this crime or any others is asked to contact the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP at 1-888-310-1122.  Information can also be reported anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by going towww.khcs.ca and submitting an anonymous tip online.
