Kawartha Lakes Libraries Offer Free Fun Kids March Break Programs!

Kawartha Lakes Mums - did you know The City of Kawartha Lakes Public Library has many events planned for children during the March Break? Brochures outlining events are available at all Library Branches throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes.
Highlights of the week include the following.

Cyber Camp - Children will enjoy the Internet Scavenger Hunt at the Cyber Camp for Kids. The program is geared to children age 7 – 11 years and registration is required. Call your local library for dates and times.
Everyone loves magic and "The Great Bobolini" will present a fun filled comedy and magic show for the whole family at the following library branches.

· Bobcaygeon Library (705 738-2088) on Wednesday, March 13 at 11 am
· Lindsay Library (705 324-5632) on Wednesday, March 13 at 2 pm
· Kinmount Library (705 488-3199) on Thursday, March 14 at 11 am
· Coboconk Library (705 45403322) on Thursday, March 14 at 2 pm
St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs Jack, Echo and Indy will be visiting library branches for the popular Read to the Dogs program. Register for your 15 minute session at the following library branches.
· Little Britain (705 786-2088) on Saturday, March 9 from 10:30 – noon.
· Cambray Library (705 374-4900) on Saturday, March 16 from 11 am – 1 pm
· Dunsford Library (705 793-3037) on Saturday, March 16 at 10:30 am
· Lindsay Library (705 324-5632) on Saturday, March 16 from 10:30 – noon.
"Writer in Residence" Jessica Becking will be presenting "Stories & Snacks", a YA creative writing workshop for participants age 12 – 16 years on Tuesday, March 12 and Thursday, March 14 from 2-4 pm at the Lindsay Library.
Woolley Wonderland Farm will be coming to the Lindsay Library on Monday, March 11 at 2 pm with their little farm animals for children to enjoy.

As well, craft programs, Storytime, scavenger hunt, and St. Patrick's Day events will be featured at various libraries. There is something for everyone at the Library during the March Break. Call your local library for information today.
