Don Mitchell Omemee Encorages All to Join In!

Join in ! Help make sure those who need assistance do not walk alone.

Don Mitchell, Omemee donning his Purina Walk for Dog Guides hat, welcomes walkers joining him Sunday May 26, 2013 raising funds with LIONs for Dog Guides. Don, an active participant in the Omemee Walk for Dog Guides, says it is an enjoyable walk beginning at Omemee Curling Club on James Street, to Omemee Roadside Cafe, then north on Sibley Avenue, along the Kawartha Rail Trail to Robertson's Garage, then back to Omemee Curling Club.
If you would like to walk the trail with Don, forms are available from LIONs members, at Omemee Foodland, and online.
Want to sponsor Don? Catch him walking around Omemee, or sign one of his pledge forms at Omemee Panda Express, or Heaven on Seven.
All you need to participate in the LIONs Walk for Dog Guides walkathon is good walking shoes and a pledge sheet. Dogs are welcome too, but not necessary.  Walkers can register and donate online at PurinaWalkforDogGuides.com.
