Need Help Paying for Kids Activities? Kawartha Lakes Funding Available!

Kawartha Lakes Community Investment Fund Helps Kids 17 and Under!

Do you have a child 17 years or younger wanting to play hockey, do gymnastics, dance or go to scouts? Do you need some help to pay for the classes?
You may be eligible to apply for The Community Social Investment Fund for help!

Covers Many Activities
The Community Social Investment Fund can help you pay for registration fees for your child to participate in recreational or sport activities. To be eligible, you will be needs tested and may be required to provide and verify income and assets.Each child may be eligible for a maximum of $300 per child per year per activity if funds are available. Payments will be made directly to the agency unless proof of payment can be provided.

 Activities may include: tutoring, hockey, skating, swimming, tennis, squash, soccer, baseball, scouts, guides, brownies, cubs, dance lessons, karate, gymnastics, kung fu, etc. First come first service as funding limited.
