Lindsay Little Theatre Welcomes Your Talents! 

June 13 and 16, 2013 Lindsay Little Theatre  wiil hold open auditions for 'Mauritius' by Theresa Rebeck, a comedy to be performed at LLT September 13, 14, 20, 21, 2013. Directed by Miranda Warren. If you have ever thought about performing onstage, here is your opportunity! New actors are always welcome - no experience necessary.

 Stamp collecting is far more risky than you think. After their mother's death, two estranged half-sisters discover a book of rare stamps that may include the crown jewel for collectors. One sister tries to collect on the windfall, while the other resists for sentimental reasons. In this gripping tale, a seemingly simple sale becomes dangerous when three seedy, high-stakes collectors enter the sisters' world, willing to do anything to claim the rare find as their own. Auditions will be held at Lindsay Little Theatre at 7:30pm on Thursday June 13 & Sunday June 16.  Be prepared to read individually and with a group.

Lindsay Little Theatre Mauritius  Available Roles:

• JACKIE - female, 20s-30s - a young woman who recently lost her mother and is interested in selling a collection of rare stamps she was left 
• MARY - female, 30s-40s - Jackie's older half-sister, who feels the stamps are rightfully hers and wants to keep them 
• PHILIP - 40s-60s - stamp store owner and dealer with a chip on his shoulder 
• DENNIS - 30s-50s - hobbyist looking to cash in on Jackie's ignorance 
• STERLING - 40s-60s - career criminal who dabbles in stamp collecting, in league with Dennis
